| Our Vision Underwood Orthodontics’ vision is to create the most beautiful smiles possible by providing leading edge orthodontic treatment in a fun, friendly and caring environment. Our team will provide more than just straight teeth; we will deliver the Ultimate Orthodontic Experience. Our Staff We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care, and we strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.  Jenny Austin – Clinical Assistant Jenny@underwoodorthodontics.com Jenny Austin lives in Marysville, Ohio with her husband, 2 children and dog Lacie. She is working with patients by placing braces on and taking them off. You will see her placing appliances such as the palatal expander and suresmile wires. She also orders supplies for the office. Jenny travels between Marysville and the Powell offices. She enjoys the process of changing smiles to perfection. Jenny is very busy with her family at home and her family at work. She really enjoys being around people. Adrienne Gibson – Clinical Assistant  Adrienne Gibson lives in Richwood, Ohio. She has 2 years experience in orthodontics. She went to a nine month dental assisting program. At Underwood Orthodontics she is a clinical assistant. She works with patients in the clinic and also does suresmile scans. Adrienne enjoys orthodontics because it is very hands on. She also enjoys working with people and seeing their smiles transform into beautiful smiles. She has two dogs Reggie and Cali. Adrienne enjoys going on vacations and traveling. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends. Julie Gute – Insurance Coordinator  Julie@underwoodorthodontics.comJulie Gute is the Insurance Coordinator as well as a Scheduling Coordinator. She has worked for Dr. Underwood the past 2 years. Julie enjoys working with people and helping people understand their insurance benefits. Julie graduated from The Ohio State University where she graduated with a BSBA majoring in accounting and finance. Julie and her husband Leland and their 2 children ( Eric and Caroline) live in Dublin, Ohio. They stay busy by attending the kids sporting events as well as watching the Cincinnati Bengals and the Columbus Blue Jackets.  Melissa Jolliff – Treatment Coordinator Melissa@underwoodorthodontics.com Melissa Jolliff has 9 years experience in orthodontics working for Dr. Underwood. After working 4 years in the clinic she transitioned into the role of patient care coordinator. She enjoys working directly with the patients and parents in our offices. You will most likely meet her during your initial visit. However, you may find her greeting you when you arrive or in the clinic. Melissa enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married for 10 years and has a 12 year old son Kaleb. In her spare time she enjoys going to baseball games, hiking, camping, horseback riding and traveling with her family. She is also very active in her church with the youth ministry.  Tamie Kleinman – Office Administrator Tamie Kleinman is our Office Administrator. She has worked with Dr. Underwood since February, 2002. She truly enjoys the diversity of her job and never having time to be bored. “There’s rarely a day I don’t look forward to going to work. The staff & Dr. Underwood are like family, and it’s fun; we’re always looking for ways to improve.” Tamie has finally joined the “empty nesters” club. Her son, Jeff, graduated from Ohio State; and her daughter, Abbey, graduated from Mt. Carmel College of Nursing. Tamie enjoys golfing, reading, home projects and laughing at her dogs Bailey & Willie.Bethany Kloss – Marketing Director/SureSmile Coordinator  Beth@underwoodorthodontics.com Bethany Kloss has been working with Dr. Underwood since 2004. Over the years, Beth has worked in many areas of the office including assisting chairside with patients and scheduling appointments. Currently, she is the marketing coordinator for the office. She oversees office contests, the patient appreciation party and the office newsletter. Beth loves the confidence that orthodontics provides to the patients. Beth graduated from Franklin University with a BS in Marketing. She has been married to her husband Aaron since 2008. In her spare time she enjoys running, camping, hiking, traveling and playing with her dog Maura.  Angie Larrick - Labratory Technician Angie Larrick has been in the orthodontic field since 2000. As the Lab Technician, she makes appliances and retainers for patients. Angie loves orthodontics and enjoys working with her hands and the challenges since every mouth is different. Angie and her husband Ron have a black lab and 2 yorkies, one son Tony who lives in Troy, Ohio. In her spare time she enjoys camping, bowling, golfing and watching nascar.  Jamie McMahon – Clinical Assistant Jamie McMahon has 10 years experience working in orthodontics. She works closely with the patients in the clinic and helps with SureSmile scanning. Jamie loves interacting with patients and helping make beautiful smiles. At home, she is married with a son and she has 1 dog, an American Eskimo. Nicole McMahon – Clinical Assistant  Nicole@underwoodorthodontics.com Nicole McMahon is a certified orthodontic assistant in our office. She has 9 years of experience and has been with Dr. Underwood since 2008. Nicole is originally from Springfield Ohio, currently residing in Dublin, Ohio. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching sports. Nicole loves interacting with the patients in our practice and finds orthodontics very fun and rewarding.  Lisa Miller – Treatment Coordinator Lisa@underwoodorthodontics.com Lisa Miller is a Patient Care Coordinator in our office. She meets with new patients to get them started on their orthodontic journey. She has been with Dr. Underwood since 2001. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know our patients/parents when they come in for visits. She finds great satisfaction with the care she is able to provide. Lisa and her husband Gary have been married since 1984. They live in Worthington with their 2 daughters and dog Brutus. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading and most of all traveling.  Tere’ Peterson – Treatment Coordinator Tere@underwoodorthodontics.com Tere Peterson has 5 years experience in orthodontics working with Dr. Underwood. She brings strong communication and customer service skills to the team. Currently working as patient care coordinator, she has previously been responsible for the insurance duties in the office. You will often find her greeting patients and parents at the scheduling desk as she truly enjoys getting to know everyone. Her favorite thing about being in orthodontics is the experience of seeing smiles transform. Tere loves spending time with her husband Steve. Married in 1988, they have three sons, Alex, Max, and Zach. She also enjoys walking, reading and vacationing at the beach.  Laurie Lobmiller - Clinical Assistant Laurie Lobmiller lives in Pickerington. She has completed a dental assisting course at the Eastland Career Center. This course helped prepare Laurie for her career in orthodontics. She enjoys working with and being around people. During her time off from the office she enjoys canoeing, paintballing, spending time with friends and her cat Sweet Pea.
