Meet Dr. Underwood
Dr. Underwood grew up in a small town just outside of Rochester, NY. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology while enrolled in the Honors Program at Bowling Green State University. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received numerous awards upon graduation, including awards from the American College of Dentists, the Academy of Oral Medicine and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society upon graduation from dental school.
After completing his orthodontic residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, Dr. Underwood was awarded his Certification in Orthodontics. He is eligible for Board certification.
Dr. Underwood is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Columbus Dental Society. He is also the co-founder and President of the Greater Columbus Society of Contemporary Dentistry.
He lives in Dublin with his wife, Amy, and their children Annie and Rick. The king of the household, however, is ‘Woody’, their black lab. Dr. Underwood enjoys outdoor activities including jogging and golf.
